Personal Bio
I have experience of training and advising on Health and Safety matters in the Security and Void Property Protection Industry, Facilities Management and Logistics/Warehousing Sectors. Over the years I have identified the need to reduce the high risk of injury to colleagues by introducing a new dock leveller bridging plate and a bespoke lifting/carrying handle and taking responsibility for this from design through to implementation. I have significant experience of implementing new Health and Safety related training programmes linked to the risk assessments and SSOW for that industry. I have taken part in Health and Safety audits and made recommendations on good housekeeping measures, safe working practices and accident prevention. I have been greatly involved in incident/accident investigation and sharing learning opportunities in order to mitigate further instances. I have worked with company solicitors in defending companies against fraudulent claims through the application of my operational expertise. Achieved Subject matter expert status in the following – Manual Handling, Working at Height, COSSH, Crime Scene Cleaning, Display Screen Equipment (DSE), Fire Marshals, Needle Sweep, Clean and Clearance, Pigeon Guano Removal and Screens & Alarms
